Big news, folks!
Have you ever thought to yourself, "Boy, these comics sure are great. Too bad they're trapped on the other side of my computer screen. I'd love to get my greasy mitts all over them."
Well, now (soon, actually) you can! Lisa and I (mostly Lisa) put together our own little TMOPMO compendium (thank you, Copyland) and we will be selling it on this very website starting in about a week (not exactly a week; we'll tell you when).
This book includes:
- twenty-three of our favorite installments of the comic in glorious high-definition
- sketches, rough drafts, outlines, and other behind-the-scenes ephemera
- beautiful new cover art by Lisa (pictured above)
- a MULTIPLE-PARAGRAPH introduction by me, Raphael
- the path to happiness and fulfillment (not actually)
- other things I'm probably forgetting
What does this news mean for most of you? Not much. I'll tell you how you can get your dirty paws on them in a week. BUT those of you who live in the Los Angeles area can buy them this very weekend! How? I will explain!
This Saturday, December 15, Lisa will be tabling at super*MARKET, an independent comics expo held at Meltdown Comics (7522 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90046) from 11am-6pm. Admission is free.
Lisa will be selling the TMOPMO book at the CRAZY CHEAP price of four dollars a pop (actual price for all you on-line chumps: more than four dollars). Additionally, she'll be selling her own awesome book, "It's sexy when people know your name" and some original artwork. Go get some and put them in your grubby little arm-danglers.
